Yes please! I loved these & would dump a load of cash to have them again. A particular favourite was a golf based marble run type game a friend had, just brilliant fun. I had a few, one with a big gun and tanks, one with gangsters, some kind of slot machine and a few I don't remember too well.

That's a great move if you can do without video games. I don't use Windows for anything (Mac for home and work), but I do have to set up Windows machines for some of our team and it's just awful.

I get that, it's more a matter of principle than managing risk. If I desperate to use those Bluesky features I'd have to reconsider.

And if I'm desperate I cans always change my VPN location to the USA.

Just got the Age Assurance thing on Bluesky. I'm not doing it as I'm not bothered about adult content, but I will lose DMs. I think most folks who've DMd me in the past know me on Discord, so that's the way to go for now.

I avoid google where I can, but with entirely de-googling would be a huge undertaking. Maybe a project for when I retire.

We've yet to make that step in my company, but I do have something lined up with NordLayer when the time is right.

I started using one a couple of months back without knowing what was coming. I have it set to UK right now, but access from the USA or elsewhere in the world is a click away.
