At second sight, the “Multigrain” lettering looks a bit cheap, though. The font and proportions don't fit with the rest of the module, imho.

Though I have to say that, while I always come back to something I patched on my modular synth to keep it, I rarely come back to something I wrote down. Most of the time, those chits fly around for a few months before being trashed.

Absolutely! Inspiration kills work - in a good way. I have to focus on the music then - if only to patch something or make a short sketch that is repeatable. Or write down some notes or chords and things.

However, this requires a lot of mastery. Your first 11 mixing attempts might not do the trick, but hang on! 😁 The basic quality is there!

The overall mix sounds a bit flat and muddy, like being recorded on a four track Portastudio. 😉 It could need more punch on one side and more transparency on the other. EQing should be key here, plus a more advanced use of the stereo field. Maybe compression, but not too much.

Imho, the arrangement would benefit from more details - selectively, not over the entire song. It lacks some alternation, changes, striking moments, breaks - things like that.

Be assured though that my first song sounded worse. 😜

I prefer being honest as I think it might be more helpful. It's also the way I am. Good song. Good voice, especially in the beginning - this voice could do a lot more! Solid guitar work. Drums seem to stutter at times. The arrangement sounds a bit thin and the overall mix lacks "pro quality".
