It did take some practice to get to moving the machine vs the quilt. My go to motif for the sky is feathers and I am pretty good at those but the quilting in the bottom of the quilt needs some work.

Myth: Longarm machines are only for bed quilts. 😳.

I took the long arm plunge 2 years ago with a Handiquilter Simply 16 on a Little Foot Frame. It is the perfect size frame for the majority of quilts I make. My art quilts range from 25-50 inches wide.
