One of the roads on the Government list for a speed limit increase is a state highway north of Auckland.
The speed limit change from 100kph to 110kph has been proposed for two sections of State Highway 1 from Orewa to Warkworth.
In a previous statement, Transport Minister Simeon Brown said boosting economic growth and productivity was a key part of the Governmentβs plan to rebuild the economy.
You need to have something wrong with your brain to honestly think "Raising the speed limit will boost the economy".
It is a frankly stupid belief to hold, and anybody who believes it is incompetent as a person.
