Trump made false claims about election before J6. He has continued to do so after losing court cases. We have him on tape trying to fix the vote (with Georgia SoS). He *pardoned* the insurrectionists.

Why can the BBC not defend itself?

Trump clearly incited an insurrection. That was how his supporters understood him. Any reasonable person will understand these words coule rile up the mob.

A phrase added as an attempt to create plausible deniability does not in fact change his meaning or intent.

It’s not bad enough that ICE is assaulting immigrants on the streets of America, kidnapping them and disappearing them. ICE is also sexually abusing straight and LGBTQ women.

Speak out and spread videos like this one to bring awareness to these human rights violations.

Access to high-quality, comprehensive information is a vital part of democracy and therefore journalism is a common good which doesn't fit so well with private ownership. BBC should in theory be better able to deliver fearless, unbiased journalism.

Incidentally I did get some warning in previous weeks: occasional severe shoulder pain which I didn't realise was angina. Didn't seem to correlate with exercise ie I'd get it after several hours riding not as soon as I started pedalling.

Moral of the story: don't wait to get it checked out!

Something similar happened to me. Regularly doing 50-60 mile rides so I thought I was fairly fit. Then.. BAM! Myocardial infarct.

As an independence supporter with a fully functional cerebral cortex, I am aware of the false equivalence between membership of the UK and membership of the EU.

We'd do very to untangle ourselves from this mess.

If we're smart we'll join EU but postpone adopting the euro indefinitely.

Own currency is a fundamental economic power: always have access to an infinite amount of money therefore always able to fund any amount of non-inflationary spending.

No sane govt would give that up.
