I really wish Steam's "More like this" actually showed me games that are like the one I'm currently looking at, rather than just ultra popular games that happen share tags. It's really not fit for purpose.

So much this! Also it would greatly help with game sales.

With a plugin like steam peak jigsaw puzzle games show other jigsaw games.

With "more like this" you just see same top selling games with tag filters, none are jigsaw games.

We would have so many more sales if it showed relevant games!

I'm seriously considering *not* making a steam page for my game. Here's why- they take 30%, yes, but they also expose you to a wider audience. To me that is a problem. I finally fixed this annoying issue for our piano which enabled so many cool new ways to use it 🤩

Jigsaw Puzzle Dreams - Major Optimization of Bevel Creation + New Debug Version - Steam News This update further optimizes puzzle creation to fix user crashes with very large puzzles, and also adds a Debug version to help users report issues.

New update fixes the long standing issue of bevel normal map creation timing out lower end GPU's on huge puzzles.

Many hours of work went into reducing a compute shader from 2 seconds down to just 100 milliseconds!

I had to grab some more screenshots of Crisol's environmental design, because it is incredible the amount of little details there are everywhere you look, like the chair legs have hooves! The cutlery have little fish tails! The bottle is wearing a matador outfit! The art team went *HARD* hard!

After downloading I used powershell command add-appxpackage to install that file on other computer, bypassing windows store.

I encountered another error, but this error had an answer. I needed to open gpedit and enable NTFS file encryption. This was the actual issue and that's why FAT32 worked.

Support gave up but I figured it out. Now you can't copy over installation because windows encrypts the files to that pc but I can capture the download:

Started download on a working pc.
Used net monitor Fiddler Classic to capture download URL.
On other PC pasted that URL into a download manager.

That looks so fun!

Probably don't try this in the real Kamogawa...
Look and feel test for this area inspired by memories of hanging out by the river in Kyoto.

Just tried changing usb to NTFS (was fat32 because install disk) and now errors out with same error trying to install to that. I have no idea......

Fresh windows install is probably the best option but I'm not ready to go down that route yet just to install one game.

After that worked I unplugged it and tried change the letter of E to D but still same error trying to install. No idea why it works on that little USB stick and not my actual drives.

Here is a really odd thing I just found. So I have a C drive and an E drive and have tried installing on both. I had a USB stick inserted to reinstall windows and that was D drive. I tried to install to that (not even enough room) and the download worked!?? But it's just a usb stick...

I tested with Microsoft Jigsaw and was able to download that, so seems only Forza or at least apps like it.
