Hard to know what to say about #LCFC anymore. Seems fair to believe everything to do with the first team — ownership, board, coaching, players — is unfit for purpose. Struggle to see another point this season (another goal?); long, long road back, and likely further depths before reaching a nadir. ☹️

Absolutely. Believe firmly that issues lie at a higher level than RVN. No accountability and no direction other than backwards. But still he is responsible - at least in part - for the way we (don’t) defend. And I’ll never understand any selection of Vestergaard given what he delivers each week.

Don’t get me wrong. I wasn’t against Cooper’ appointment, but thought quickly that he was out of his depth. Thought his sacking was the right decision. RVN looks more lost than his predecessor. He had a plan and sad to see him given its failing, but this is a dreadful team not fit for purpose.

Incredible to think Steve Cooper’s reputation has likely been enhanced by #LCFC after his sacking. He was neither sole problem nor answer, but team now is fundamentally worse now than pre-Brentford. Three points for whoever they are playing… Club is broken and in need of fixing from the Top. #LEIFUL

💯 Unsure if this happens at all clubs, as I don’t pay so much attention to the others, but you’d like to see a loud following from start to finish and beyond.

I’ll never understand fans who leave a game early — to “beat the traffic”, or whatever. Support the team to the end. It’s what we do as “supporters”. No doubt #LCFC fans who left #LEIBHA early feature any number who have previously slammed Foxes players for “quitting”.

Jamie Vardy might just be better than ever! Remarkable player! #LCFC

You think this came up in RVN interview process, when explaining club finances and their potential effect on his transfer budget? Not a good day for #LCFC coming after the calamitous performance @ Brentford. Steve Cooper was a problem; two lines of evidence that prove he wasn’t the only problem.

Development goals - Coaches' Voice
Manchester United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy on his development as a coach, and his successful first season as a head coach with PSV
Like quoted details of conversation Ruud Van Nistelrooy had with Enzo Maresca before taking #LCFC job, as he sought trusted and informed counsel. Content in Coaches’ Voice last year gives hope also that he can thrive in the club’s current situation.🤞🏻 learning.coachesvoice.com/cv/ruud-van-...

Incredibly important — and good — reporting here from @adamleventhal.bsky.social The football is actually the least important bit if, like me, you are less informed that we should be about the war in Sudan. Essential listening. 🎧 podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/t...

Good decision by #LCFC to sack Steve Cooper given lack of team identity and organisation on pitch. Anaemic first 35 mins v Chelsea (at home) possibly telling, also excuses and lack of accountability in post-match interviews. Weekly, he identified issues but failed to effect solutions or improvement.

Leicester City 😔 Squad is lower-table Championship standard, at best, but Steve Cooper is Sunday League, if that. #LCFC
