That's a great suggestion and question!
I have tried and found it to be very difficult and until now have not found a satisfactory way to simulate the depth and therefore the interaction with reflections, light and shadow of the crackles in a realistic way.

As far as I understand, sort of. It uses another protocol compared Mastodon, Pixelfed, Peertube ect. And therefore needs to be bridged.

I got around modeling the wrist-band (sds) as well as shading the watch model I created in my last two plasticity tutorials.

So you can see how the model can look like shaded (Which we will be probably doing (shading) in the last two sessions) The next will be CAD export.

Wait until you see the backside of the Pi😬
As I did not have the PCB files of the Pi, so I re-traced all of them in illustrator. It was a multi-day job. I recommend having gerber files at hand. It's so much more easy!

Lately I did some more MiniDisc renders for a musician that releases on the MD format.
One render I am especially proud of is the Maxell OZ-Black Disc version MD.

I just love the light play in this clear one!

Though I also love the colors ones as the Sony Color Collection.
