As a former resident of Hornby Road, before moving to "off Copplehouse Lane", yeah....bring it on!!!

And all said with the straightest of two faces, and a stiff BRITISH upper lip!

It took a while
To reconcile
Arguments becoming obscene
But in the meantime
All was lost
As their votes swayed over to Green!

Raging I'm going to miss this! Frank (Rynne) dropped into our place last night, and handed me a rare piece of vinyl magnificence, from The Babysnakes, that I hadn't got! Hope it goes well, gutted not to be going!

Jim McDonagh was Ireland's keeper in 1981, in a friendly game v Wales at Tolka Park in Dublin. Dai Davies, who had moved on to Wrexham, was in goal for the Welsh!

They also nicked our home shirt back in '68, at Wembley, and stuck a naff crest on it, to try and make it not look like a homage to Harry Catterick's finest, when beating Benfica in the European Cup Final.
Wearing an imitation Everton kit when winning Big Cup is a nice tribute, it must be said!

Even funnier..... @evertonfc.com actually have a Bluesky account......and I'd almost wager that there's more chance of a stadium actually being built on Nelson Dock than the club actually regularly using this platform, aiming content at those of us who left Musk's toxic X.

I've got that "it's Christmas!" feeling tonight.......work being what it is, it's not always that easy to get over for a home game at (the!) Hill Dickinson! Any chance I've had so far this season, games have been switched for tv purposes.....think I've actually got a game next month.
