Remember when R07 was asked if he intended Satoko & Rika's dynamic to be yuri & he gave his signature style vague answer like "if you want to call it yuri then sure, but it's more like a bond that transcends concepts like gender" & *those* fans asserted it wasn't romantic & then he dropped this

I think KOTOR is cool and interesting conceptually, but I don't think it marries the turn-based combat with action elements nearly as well as DAO does.

As someone who isn't really all that big a fan of Bioware's catalogue, I gotta say that I am having a way better time with Dragon Age Origins than I ever thought I would. I think it helps that I recently attempted to replay KOTOR and DAO is much further ahead than it than I had thought.

Realizing that I don't have to suffer through someone's shitty opinions just because they are part of my communities was quite possibly one of the healthiest realizations I've ever come to.

Community is inconvenient. Having friends is work. No one is going to fulfill 100% of your needs (except you), and they're never going to have a chance if you don't communicate your needs. You have to put work into maintaining connections, even when you don't want to.

I remember people bitching and moaning about Frank West character assassination, but tbh he kind of sucks ass in the original. Literally just some dickhead who barely talks half the time, and stammers like a fucking 90s movie nerd stereotype.

I played the original Dead Rising after only playing the second one, and I gotta say, it doesn't really feel like the "unique" experience everyone was telling me it was back in the day. It kind of just feels worse in almost every way, and it doesn't feel like the story of it adds much.

Maybe it is unfair of me to expect a bit of honesty, but it's incredibly lame to be built up only to get dropped like a bad habit the moment I'm not convenient enough.

While I am known to be hypersensitive, I think it should be at least a tiny bit justified to feel hurt by someone claiming to want to hook up, leading me on for months without agreeing to any requests to meet up, and then ghosting the second it is implied it is a bit draining to deal with.

I love stumbling onto those AI "artist" bios that are like:

And then you see an ACTUAL artist's bio and it's like:

"I make dogshit. Post art sometimes. Fuck off."
