The Yellowjackets fandom is the most toxic one I’ve ever seen for reasons other than what you mentioned, but I actually LOVED all of season 3 including the finale. And I HATED season 2. I feel very much alone in these opinions. lol

And I have a feeling I know exactly what (or rather who) inspired this. lol

I think you’re vastly underestimating how dangerous fandoms are. I’m a disabled content creator whose platform is based on inclusivity. I was harassed into a suicide attempt & they’re still going. Why? Bc someone w/too much fandom power THOUGHT I tweeted about them & bc I criticized Daryl Dixon.

For many #disabled people, sm is our only form of socialization outside of home. Yet most people on social media either work hard to ostracize us (Hi, #Yellowjackets fandom!) or watch those who do this and don’t care. It has to stop. As a content creator, I shouldn’t be terrified to exist on sm.

TWD #DarylDixon S3E5 is probably the worst episode of the series and shows just how deserved the cancellation is.

It amazes me that because I refunded a donation for my preventative care fund because it was way more than I needed and bc it came with manipulative strings attached, I’ve got people deliberately trying to push myself into suicide again.
(No, I’m not currently suicidal but I’m also not safe).

I’m not, but I’ve become pretty friendly with a couple of the resurrection cast members who my cohost and I ended up interviewing. We found out Ntare is a fan of ours which blew our minds! Really great, incredibly lovely people. I’m so sad the season is over! 😭
