Because visibility — “having been counted” — is at the heart of AI and Empire, it’s a contradiction with art. “Having been measured” is what creates and binds the possibilities of AI images, the most interesting bits are when we surface whatever abstractions lay beyond what gets / can be “counted”

Although ensuring enfranchisement is important, without undoing the capitalist mode of production, we just end up back to a captialist democracy which can always slide back into fascism. Oliver Cox thus shows how the root of racism, the frailty of democracy, and fascist tendencies that arise bc of the inherent contradictions all have their origins in capitalism.
