I moved much faster into surgeries during my transition than I would have liked because we live in a garbage society and it very much felt like I had to get them while I could. No regrets though

I bought a wedge pillow when I had surgery in march and had the same experience. I got a pregnancy pillow this time with small pillows to build an incline and I have slept on my back comfortably for the first time in my life. Fully recommend!

In today's reminder that recovery isn't linear, I got entirely dressed to go grocery shopping with my partner before realizing that I was getting a pain flare up and should stay home

It hasn't been a totally pain free day but it has been the first day since surgery that I haven't taken pain meds and that's progress
