One last look at herself and she pulled on a dress. One a little looser.

“Yes well, I still look adorable. So there’s that.”

“Am I starting to show? I thought I just looked a little top heavy.”

Spilling out over her dresses, really.

“What colour is the crib?”

Rubbing a hand over her belly, peering at herself in the mirror to try and figure out if there is a little tiny bump. Or if she’s just looking a little bloated.

“I know it’s not going to be easy, darling. The sneezing usually settles down by the second trimester.”

“Baby is just a little fire starter, that’s all.”

Or babies.

Trying to wriggle her nose with her upper lip, she shook her head.

“Won’t do any good, I’m afraid. It’s a pregnancy symptom. Human women develop an enhanced sense of smell, demons sneeze HellFire.”

“Perhaps we can work on some fire suppression charms.”

Her hand lifts, gesturing for him to wait…

Head back, eyes fluttering as another sneeze starts to tickle at her nose-
