Screaming into the void

The cult like behavior coming out of the Republican Party concerns me

Maybe someone will read this and help start the conversation, I guess time will tell but I’ll continue to use Bluesky to shout into the void hoping someone hears me

But stuck in our algorithmic echo chambers it becomes more about how bad the other side is, and not what will these politicians do for us.

We shouldn’t treat politics like a sporting event. It’s where I see the biggest division in our country as people will vote for a party but can’t tell you the first thing about their policies

Current politics has become something in the way of a reality TV show or a sporting event, people are voting not on the best possible candidate but the loudest or popular

Now just because there are no bad parties that doesn’t mean that there aren’t bad people in those parties

I feel that algorithms put us into echo chambers and shows us the worst of each other. There are no good or bad parties just people trying to do what they think is right

I find my self on the liberal side of the political spectrum not because I feel we should give more handouts, but I feel that a rising tide should lift all ships

This may just be a random voice screaming out into the void but I feel that social media as tool has been used to divide this country.

The party needs to start with a movement of workers and unions with no ambitions of seeking the presidency. This party needs to start by helping smaller communities

I feel that neither Democrat or Republican parties represent the will of the working class anymore

I think it's time the U.S. starts a viable 3rd party. I'm not talking about the green or Libertarian parties, but a Labor party.
