Enjoyed what I played of that demo for SpongeBob: Titans Of The Tide. Was surprised to see it’s a budget game. The presentation and animation is excellent, and the gameplay at the least seemed solid and reliable.

The Lowdown is definitely one of the best new shows of the year based on the first five episodes. Another not to miss. On Hulu/FX.

It really is THAT good, and it’s a shame it hasn’t found the audience it deserves.

I’m debating unlocking all of the special world in 2 as of this morning, but the one criticism I do have of 2 is that more challenges seem countdown or time-based and I’m not a huge fan of that with my health how it is (tension exacerbates many symptoms).

Nope. Never mind. I finished Super Mario Galaxy 2 and I remain a firm believer it’s the better of the two. Does it really matter, though? No. They’re both incredible. Really happy to have this bundle on Switch.

This is gonna be the hardest top 10 GOTY list I’ve ever done. I may have to do a two 10s thing like MinnMax because there’s at least 20 games that deserve a spot in my top 10.

Honestly, you don’t have to deal with much when it comes to customization other than making a gear loadout or two you like. You can ignore a lot of the vehicle stuff. We have for the most part. I’m also curious how the Switch 2 upgrade will turn out. The wife is playing S2 while I’m on PS5.

Nice! It’s really fun. Transformed is still my fave, but this one is solid all around. And cross play is reliable (Tami’s playing on Switch and I’m on PS5). Hope you like it!

Are none of you playing Sonic Racing CrossWorlds? It’s surprisingly good and the weekend events have been exactly the kind of thing Mario Kart World’s missing. The wife and I have been playing and actually trying to get all the unlockables during the events.

Yeah, it runs smooth on S2 so far. The only thing that looks sketchy is the opening video before the main menu. It’s crazy compressed. Otherwise, damn the game looks and plays wonderfully. There’s more depth than I thought with the defensive mechanics.

That said, I’ve never appreciated these games more than I am now with these Switch playthroughs. There’s so much magic in these two games.

SMG benefits from focus largely in the form of gameplay purity, and it feels special because of how fresh it is/was. SMG2 has more variety and depth, which impacts that purity – sometimes negatively – via mechanical changes and interactive complexities.

I swear I posted about English Teacher last night. Either I deleted it accidentally or it… magically disappeared? Anyway, English Teacher (Hulu/FX) is one of the funniest shows on TV and more people should watch it.

Where do you all stand on Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound vs. Shinobi: Art Of Vengeance? They’re both great, so I’m curious about your personal preference.

Think I like Shinobi a little more cuz of the modern, combo-driven combat system. But I also dig perfecting runs and nabbing collectibles in Ragebound.

I hate double dipping, but there are those games that speak to my personal tastes that I’m willing to do it for. This seems to be one of them.

Started Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound last night. If I had any idea the Switch version would’ve needed a performance update and that I would like the game this much, I woulda waited for physical. Can see myself coming back to this one often. Would love to have it in the collection.

And I think that Fast And Furious arcade racer is a few days after, which basically seems to be the same thing as the Cruis’n game that came out a few years ago but with new courses. And there’s Ninja Gaiden 4. And there are some “maybe” purchases in that window too.

Absolum’s characters and visuals make me think of Unicorn: Warriors Eternal, and now I’m bummed we never got more of that show.

Anyway, happy to see the game reviewing well. Ordered a physical copy but haven’t decided if I want to wait for the delayed release, which is near Pokemon and Keeper.

I really don’t know what to do at all anymore. We’re at the point where medical is rapidly responding to new avoidable symptoms/damage from the same unmanaged, undiagnosed problems, while entirely ignoring the why. I’m telling them why. I’m telling them how. It’s obvious every time. They don’t care.

Every single one of those diagnoses has been dismissed at this point, some by their own specialists when we had a follow up visit seven months after the initial visit. So I was right, and they didn’t give a shit. And I can’t tell you how much it’s cost me now. And it’s still happening everywhere.

By the time we traveled out of state and entered the program, the specialists chosen by a coordinator – despite mine and my docs input – had already diagnosed based on old tests. No concern about what was going on then, about the disturbing changes. We pleaded they reevaluate. They wouldn’t.

We’ve experienced outpatient thru Cleveland Clinic. It’s a process my body can’t take that’s more of a look backward than current circumstances. It’s part of what roadblocked my care because the serious changes happened between applying and appointments, when it became urgent and I gained clarity.
