Isn't it LokiLocker?

Was the plane of von der Leyen jammed? Not quite.
Data from Skai Data Services show: no plane in the region had signs of GPS jamming.
The attacker must have interfered from the ground, and air traffic control requested the plane to use ILS instead of GPS procedure to land in Plovdiv.

Map showing the route of a Russian ship through the baltic sea and where it passed subsea cables.
In recent months, Internet cables in the Baltic Sea have been damaged multiple times — Russian sabotage is suspected. But how does that work?
Together with @cianjochem.bsky.social & @lukasmaeder.bsky.social , we visualized one case (inspired by Reuters 🤩)

Europas Unterseekabel sind verwundbar, das haben die letzten Monate deutlich gezeigt. Was passiert ist, wo weitere Kabel verlaufen, wie man sie repariert, kurz: Alles zu Unterseekabel gibt es hier 👇

If the US administration destroys existing initiatives and re-prioritizes the resources to new goals, this will invariably affect the global cyber security situation.
@lukasmaeder.bsky.social has a thoughtful scenario what might happen in @nzz.ch.
A few highlights.

On point @lukasmaeder.bsky.social : #DDoS is as much about #Informationspace as #Cyberspace which is why good #TechJournalism and exchange between media and the #Cybersecurity community matters so much

Thanks for citing my article!
NoName057 is a highly organized group with financial resources (although they might have been cut a bit some months ago).
I wrote down some background on NoName057, which is still relevant.
www.nzz.ch/technologie/...
With the World Economic Forum starting in Davos, the DDoS attacks of NoNameo57 are back in Switzerland.
Some local websites cannot be accessed. The most important one seems from the railway RhB.
But don't fall for the false narrative that hacktivists are attacking Switzerland.

Vielen Dank.

It's interesting: it seems to me that the Salt Typhoon hack targeting US telecom companies didn't get much attention in the European media.
Although several EU countries probably are among the victims of this espionage campaign.
For me it shows how spy trade works today

Astonishing. Still not sure about how to explain that.
29.11.2024 17:40 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Looks like they're kind of bored doing such stuff.
I wonder what happened to NoName in the last few months. They closed the english Telegram channel and stopped posting pictured of the DDoSed sites all day long.
Did someone reduce their budget?
The US sees Chinese ship-to-shore-cranes as a threat to national security. Almost 80% of this cranes in US harbors are from China.
Europe is often bedazzled and denies this concerns as protectionism.
I've tried to explain why this is too simple (in German) ⬇️

And they've been arrested in the Nederlands because they were identified after the 2016 WADA hack in Lausanne, which also included a hotel wifi

How to conduct an influence operation with real events ⬇️
19.11.2024 16:40 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Astonishing and disturbing how Apple is cooperating with the authoritarian Regime in Moscow. Not new, though.

You're right. "Success" is not a precise wording. It's very hard to measure the impact of an influence operation because you don't know how the result would have been without it.
But I would say: the impact of foreign influence operations was very limited because it never reached a broader audience
I did look back on the influence operations before the U.S. elections with @hultquist.bsky.social.
Many experts feared that foreign hackers would interfere with the U.S. elections this year. But no major influence operation succeeded.
Why was that?
