Bro, have you ever seen a painting? Everyone who could reliably meet their caloric needs was obese.

It's good that hunger is now an optional part of the social arrangement, and bad that some societies continue to pursue that option

I feel like more and more people, even in science and history fields starting to forget that history was not supposed to make you feel comfortable.

You supposed to learn it, learn from it and not repeat it.

Instead, the new approach is to hide the ugly part, so it won't make people uncomfortable.

NHM wildlife garden is wildlife-ing so hard, I found a cute little toad in the building basement 🐸 Successfully relocated back into the garden 💚

When we moved in a couple of years ago, there was a massively dying firethorn outside the fence, overgrown with ivy and russian vine. Both are cut back and mostly removed and just look at it. It's like a phoenix from the ashes.
