People have trouble interpreting this. Nobody’s saying Donald Trump or Pam Bondi are personally selecting Nazi iconography. They don’t read enough for that. The point is they hire and promote Nazis who ARE steeped in Nazi iconography, and they’re fine with it.

If it doesn't seem to be the socket you plugged into (test it with something else you need to charge) or the plug chord (try a different one if you have a spare) then it might be a full memory. I had that happen with a laptop; memory gets full and it can't run. A local PC repair guy figured it out.

Our trains can be really slow compared to UK/EU and they tend to take the "scenic route" re: time it takes to travel cross-country, but if this sudden grounding of all planes for one airline or another keeps happening people may start rediscovering their "travel by land" options.

I say this not because it's likely, but because it's important to remember that Republicans have agency and are exercising it on the side of people getting cancer and dying.

At any time Republican senators could refuse to confirm any more appointees until RFK Jr. is removed from his position and HHS returns to a basic commitment to science and medicine, including vaccines.

Nature doesn't have any interest in reinforcing your biases and assumptions about gender. Nature throws random evolutionary genetic combinations against the wall to see what sticks. It doesn't have a sexist agenda like bigots do.

Look at that GOOD BOY. He's waiting so politely for everyone else to get off first.

Just gonna repeat what I tell people who have never lived in a rural place: NATURE WANTS TO KILL YOU.
