He entered Bourbon via the SIDEWALK driving around a police unit parked in the street. Even if the bollards were up, he still would have accessed via the sidewalk on the corner or Bourbon and Canal. And even if he couldn’t access Bourbon, he would have ridden the sidewalk on Canal or mowed over…

The most frustrating thing about the NOLA attack (other than the attack itself) is the inability for the local morons to STFU and allow the law to do their fucking job. Good lord! Eagle Pass, groups of terrorists, the bollards! SHUT UP. All of that was BS. The bollards wouldn’t have done shit.

It’s been a rough couple of weeks. A waterline cracked in our slab, requiring a re-route through the attic. When the plumber was doing that, he noted that the roof was leaking. Took a bit to get that repaired. Flash did not like the hammering, but it’s over now. #catsofbluesky #cats

I had this grand idea to put up an outdoor antenna to get better reception on network TV using an existing coaxial cable system from an old cable install. Idea was great until I realized that I need to ground the antenna and the idea of ramming 8 feet of copper into the ground sounds like hell. Bah.
