Possibly not in the spirit of #ThickTrunkTuesday but these are the only trees I’ve photographed this week! Beside the river in the country park at Bradford-on-Avon.

Between buses in Trowbridge I found some nice #PavementPlants for #WildflowerHour Hemp Agrimony, Common Mallow, Thornapple (a lot of it about this year), Michaelmas Daisy and a Snapdragon.

Nice! But colour wasn’t the issue, it’s the narrowness of the petals - about 1mm. I shall see if anyone on the Facebook Wild Flowers site has seen that before.

Thanks Roger. Yes, that’s the most obvious but the narrow petals were so different.

A few from Savernake for #FungiFriday - there was so much of the Coral Fungus (top right)! Maybe Charcoal Burner below that.

Calling all Solanum fans - this keys out as S nitidibaccum apart from petal width. Several plants with all petals like this. Plenty of normal-looking, white-flowered nearby. Any ideas, please?

I was aghast at the swathes of Japanese Knotweed along the railway leaving Swansea a few weeks ago. Several kilometres I should think and marching up the embankment too.
