New York Fed estimates Americans bore ~90% of 2025 tariff costs — 94% Jan-Aug, easing to 86% by Nov as some exporters absorbed more. That undercuts the claim foreigners “pay” tariffs; importers pay at the border and pass costs on.

Jim Ratcliffe has my full support. Anyone who lies about population figures, claims £120m in public money for his own company after paying no UK tax at all, while immigrants pay at least £15bn is my kind of guy!

Nothing says “we’re not fascist” like threatening to defund organisations that disagree with you.

Enough with the outrage theatre.
