It astounds me that ppl still talk about Cuomo losing because Silwa didn't leave the race. There is no reason to think that all of Silwa's votes would have gone to Cuomo. And besides, Mamdani won by over 50% of the vote.

It's tragic that there is no democratic leadership in Congress to support the huge efforts being made on the ground.

I had forgotten that election eve can be such a happy moment.

I'm happy that Mamdani won. But I won't let that get in the way of my celebrating Cuomo losing.

I’ve been wishing I could vote for Mamdani too. And am holding my breath for his victory. And hope to one day be able to vote for him, or some other dem socialist, for president

As a retired lawyer I’m skeptical that ABA should be looking to big law firms for their attorneys. These are the firms that represent corporate interests. Many courageous and superb lawyers in smaller firms.
