I’m surprised The Well is as good as it is as a follow-up to Midnight, but being real it was always never gonna compare. The entity killing people is scary and the way it was executed was super creepy but that is never gonna be as effective or scary as the entity not even actually needing to kill…

…episode being unnecessarily forced on it doesn’t feel like a sign of the show in a healthy place, and really feels like they didn’t have the confidence to let this thing stand on its own which it easily could’ve done.

Probably about a 9/10 for me - so scary, creepy and atmospheric, well paced, great guest cast, great build of suspense and dread, but being real it really didn’t need to be a Midnight sequel. So that was a really good episode but like… we can all agree that that did not need to be a Midnight sequel at all, right? Like that was scary and atmospheric and the creature had a really cool power that was really cool…
