Been a good week at the Res with 2 Glossy Ibis, Ruff, 3 Black Terns, 5 Curlew Sandpipers and Honey buzzard all reported by others.

Found a Curlew Sandpiper at Bough Beech this morning, patch tick 😀 also noted 5 Common Sandpipers, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Snipe, 1 Yellow Wagtail south and calling Lesser Spotted Woodpecker #kentbirding

Cattle Egret was new for the year at Bough Beech, other notable birds were 6 LRP, 7 Green and 4 Common Sandpipers, 2 Hobby, 9 Shelduck, Lesser Whitethroat and group of 17 Terns west high over the Res were picked up to late to id ##kentbirding

Bough Beech saw Greenshank (year tick) 7 Green Sandpipers, 4 Common Sandpipers, 1 LR Plover, Cetti's Warbler, 2 Lesser Whitethroat and 2 Raven. Good numbers of Butterflies on the wing including my first Common Blues of the year ##kentbirding ##kentwildlife ##kentbutterflies

A Brent Goose dropped into Bough Beech during a shower this morning, also 3 Pintail, 29 Goosander, 3 Raven, Goshawk and 18 Snipe. I missed the White-tailed Eagle that flew over the res early afternoon. #kentbirding #ukbirding

A similar day to yesterday with regards to sightings at Bough Beech, a juv female Goshawk (different bird from yesterday) with a full crop flew over the res, a high count of 31 Goosander (9 drakes) 18 Snipe, 3 Raven, Water Rail, and a Cetti's. #kentbirding #ukbirding
