you see I would just not care if many of the people I knew in kink spaces weren't overwhelmingly queer, disabled, neurodivergent, etc. those spaces also happen to be hella welcoming even if it's things I'm not into.

it's ok to not like kink stuff but be mature and filter your discomforts out.

i really don't like how having certain kinks that are ultimately just harmless and even healthy forms of coping can warrant so much reactionary behavior from people who weaponize their disgust into attempts to de-person random people they've never met or will meet.

I knew that Tom Stoppard had a secret life as a film script-doctor, & wrote much of the dialogue for, eg, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

For reasons I can't quite put my finger on, however, I am unduly shaken to discover that his nom-de-film was 'Barry Watson'.
