Yes, in a general election, I would vote for ANY Democrat right now. I said ANY. I'm sure in 1930's Germany there were liberal "purists" who sat things out with angry arms folded.

And all of this is being used as an excuse to curtail benefits that the American people have approved. And of course, if we ever need a bigger military or more bombs, there’s always money for that.

Of course the rich can snort all the cocaine they want or get unethical doctors to prescribe unnecessary prescription drugs and if they get in trouble they can afford to throw expensive lawyers at it.

Maybe they need assistance because of wealth inequity. Maybe they’re overweight to a metabolic condition, and don’t have the money to get proper treatment. Consuming marijuana may be a response to all the pain that an unjust society has heap upon them.

The rich and the right always want to paint the poor and the sick as having a moral failing that causes their condition. And they want to punish them by preventing them from having anything that makes their life better. Maybe they have a new phone because they saved up what little they had.

Lines? These people don’t see lines. When I make a left turn I have to make sure that there isn’t somebody driving on the wrong side of the double yellow. Also last night driving home through the Chicago suburbs, somebody took off going straight on the left green arrow, almost caused an accident.

Just want to remind everyone that Elon Musk was working in the U.S. illegally when he started his first company and likely obtained his citizenship through fraud. He has also been accused of sexual harassment.

Those alleys look familiar to me.

As someone who lives in Cook County Illinois, I feel your pain. Here, it’s property taxes. One side effect of renting is that I don’t have to deal with triennial assessments and sharp increases and having to do appeals using nearby comparable properties.

My health insurance company wants me on an AI nanny because it doesn’t like paying for my diabetes meds and thinks I can “behavior” my way healthy (no, my metabolic system is that damaged). They want me on virtual PT because a real physical therapist costs money…

That’s exactly the problem, though. Democratizing through tech is filling the gap of not investing in mental health, the arts, universal basic income, universal health care. The entire culture is built around optimizing upward wealth transfer…

Trump is so old and befuddled, he’s probably confused by “camelopard”, the archaic English word for giraffe. Because it kinda looks like a camel and has some kind of spotting?

Did he make a public statement saying to go talk to the doctors? Could that be taken as binding consent to release personal medical information? I mean the public does have an interest in his health.
