It was their third day of laughing therapy, and while it felt positive in the moment, it also felt that the point of no return was getting closer and closer.

All things do pass, but for now, it was just another cold, grey day of grief and torture fantasies.

They couldn’t resist judgment as they slipped the parking ticket under my windshield wiper. If they only knew that I mistakenly paid the wrong meter next to my expired one, they might have felt a little better about the world.

Things were very primitive back then, but everything changed on the day he watched the egg come out of the chicken and he thought, “I don’t know what that thing is, but I’m going to eat it”
