If you like dogs, gardens, politics, art, theatre, music and curling up with a good book this is the space for you. I’m not saying I do all those things, but I tend to post about them. A lot. Living in beautiful PEI / Epekwitk

Sorry I need to pay more attention over here. I think it was scheduled for Summerside but the rest of the province had/has been advised to be careful with usage during the busy times. I misunderstood BUT my power went out anyways. 🤷‍♀️

I made the mistake of going back to the bad place for a minute to check one of my lists. The feelings. Soooo many feelings. 😳🫠

The rolling blackouts have started on the Island. The power was out for approximately 25mins (which is great/not bad). Does anyone know if it’s a one and done thing tonight or if it’s going to keep happening?

Every single time Tr*mp does or says something outrageous I always wonder what he’s trying to distract us from.

Here’s the thing. With the all the threats of these Tariffs over the last few weeks Tr*mp always seemed to be saying it was because of Fentanyl and migrants coming from Canada…I’m sorry but the math doesn’t math.

I wonder if the person who is scheduled to come to the house tomorrow morning to replace a window pane will actually be here or is the weather going to impact it?

This photo shows a group of people standing behind a barrier, holding up a banner that reads "THANK YOU CANADA." The setting appears to be indoors, possibly at an event or a public gathering. The banner is prominently displayed, and there is a maple leaf symbol on the left side of the image, reinforcing the Canadian theme. The people in the photo seem to be expressing gratitude, likely towards Canada for some form of support or action. The atmosphere looks celebratory or appreciative.

On this day in 1980, six American diplomats, travelling with valid Canadian passports, escaped Iran.
They were hidden for months by Canadians, who played a massive role in their escape.
Let's learn the real (not the Argo version) story of The Canadian Caper.

Offering this up as a timeline cleanse.

This is what’s happening on my bedside table this week. Fresh tulips from Vanco and a couple of hyacinths that I’m forcing.

Billionaires Should Not Exist Yes, every billionaire really is a policy failure.

When a single billionaire can accumulate more money in 10 seconds than their employees make in one year, while workers struggle to meet the basic cost of rent and medicine, then yes, every billionaire really is a policy failure.

“I had a feeling that there were people watching what was happening and wondering, Was anyone going to say anything?” Bishop Mariann Budde explained. “Was anyone going to say anything about the turn the country’s taking?”

So, she took a breath, and spoke. nyti.ms/3WtmNY2

Long story short I couldn’t reach anything because I broke the bench and I didn’t touch anything because common sense prevailed. Maritime Electric is going to send someone to deal with it (I sent them photos and they told me to leave it).

The other day I was all set to check my twinkle lights to see if they still work when I remembered that they’ve been twisted in some sort of power (?) lines running to the house from the road since Fiona 🙄 I broke my bench getting up to check them 🫠 before realizing I should just walk away 🫣
