She chuckled, eyes wide in surprise.

“Wow, really? I didn’t take you two for such… serious types. But how did you end up doing hired jobs? Unless you’re an advanced assassin droid or you have an organic partner, droids aren’t usually taken seriously in that line of work…”

She smirked, and pulled out two sawed off doubled barreled scatter guns “These babies! I like to get close and personal!”

“From my experience, it’s not fate but your actions that get stuff done. How did you manage to not be turned into tin cans? You ran away? Blasted your way out heroically?”

“Funny how that doesn’t involve you doing a single thing. You could start a cantina brawl if you’re bored.”

“Name’s Alema. Mercenary, bounty huntress, enforcer, bodyguard and all that stuff that pays well for hired muscles.”

She raised an eyebrow, surprised by not impressed.

“Really? I thought the retirement plans for veteran battle droids was the scrapyard after you lost the war.”

She smirked and flexed a big arm muscle.

“I do! I could teach you a few things if you want.”

“I did not say at the same time though. But some people might… disappear soon… one after another…” she said with an ominous grin.

She cracked her knuckles.

“A lot of EX someone you mean…”

She chuckled.

“Well, maybe the slavers who put me in the arena must have fed me well enough then. Guess they were happy with the show I put on back then.”

“What?! You ever found someone who could beat someone up like I do?!”

“I dunno. I’m just built different I guess. Or it’s just other people are too short.”

“Not paying me enough for my services for a start.”

“You wanna have the short, or long version?”

Knowing you, you probably had it coming.

“You might have a window of opportunity for the two seconds of confusion the imperials will get when they see you.”

I heard the twi’lek from the game lethal alliance struggled to communicate with her kind because of it since she could not perform lekku sign language anymore. Like a deaf person missing several fingers.

Alema had been up longer, having finished her morning workout, wearing a crop top and shorts, her muscles, abs, arms and legs exposed for Madary's view.

“Hey there Maddie. Slept well?”

She smiled gently, leaned down due to her height to be at her head level, and teasingly patted Maddie's.

“I promise.” She said with a big smile.

She might not be special to others, but to Alema, she is. Killing that guy would only make a mess. She wants to teach him a lesson, so no other twi’lek falls prey to him.

“Look, I’ll try to talk first, and I’ll go easy on him if he doesn’t listen. Don’t want him to hurt you or anyone else again.”

If there is one thing Alema hates, it’s people taking advantage of her kind. For some reason, few people tried to treat her like they do the others.

“Really? Is he still there? Because I want to… talk to him…” she said ominously while cracking her knuckles.

She frowned, finding the quick pace of her reply worrying.

"Really? Their hands must be the size of rancor claw then. Or they were more than just handsy..."

She leaned closer, and placed her hand on Maddie's shoulder gently.

"You know it's always worth it with me."

Alema turned toward her, her eyes widening in surprise when seeing the sorry state Madary is in. Her surprise turned to anger quickly, though not toward Maddie, but toward whoever did this to her!

“You alright? What happened this time?” She asked, a mix of worry and vengeance in her voice.

“Should have hired some private security. There would only be little bits of your spider left.”
