I TRIED to take a break from revisions. My poor, neurodivergent brain has decided words we cannot interact with aren't interesting and video games/movies are boring. So I guess I'll continue with the revisions because that is feeding the ND brain today. I give up. #writingcommunity

Past me is an ass. Left myself a note in the document that said "Rewrite scene. It's a mess." I've just reread the scene three times. It's not a mess. I don't see what past me saw. Could I have been more helpful to myself and said WHY I thought it was a mess? Revisions are fun. #writingcommunity

So I'm up early (yes, 7 AM on a Saturday is early for me...I've also been up for an hour already). I have some tea. Let's knock out some revisions in between household chores. Can't start work on the laundry until after 8 AM anyway because of apartment complex rules. #writingcommunity

A glass of wine, some interesting music, and cracking open the WIP. It's Friday so I don't have to get up early tomorrow. Time to do some night revisions. We'll see how late I make it. Hoping for at least midnight (3 hours), but we'll see. #writingcommunity

Found Phoenix Rising (book 3 in the series on my blog). Getting it set up on my blog to start posting next Monday. Then I'm doing some revisions on the main Courtesan series. I need a break. Going to disappear and play w/my imaginary friends today. Took today off work. #writingcommunity

Applying to at least 2-3 jobs a day if I can manage it. More if I find them. I need local because I have to take the bus and I'm not interested in a 5-6 hour round trip on public transit on top of an 8 hour work day. So far no luck but I will keep trying!

Aside from the fact my job is probably getting axed in the next few months, SHE is the main reason I'm leaving my company. Still job hunting. I've had one interview. Waiting to either be ghosted or notified I didn't get the job (don't think I got it, tbh). Had a few rejections from applications.

So fucking pissed right now. Bitchy manager just accused me of lying about being chronically ill & forging all my medical paperwork that lets me WFH & have my intermittent medical leave. Like WTF? I CAN'T forge it. The company who handles LOA/FMLA/WFH contacts the actual dr.

Going to be posting book 3 in the series I've been sharing on my blog starting next week. I WAS going to start it this week, but...complications. (Not the least of which I can't find the bloody file! I KNOW where the backup of my backup is. It's a matter of digging it out.) #writingcommunity
