Speaking today at a High Level Dialogue during #MEAs Day at #UNEA-7, the BRS Executive Secretary Rolph Payet stressed the importance of a whole of UN approach to support countries in delivering on their MEA commitments, in addition to whole of government and whole of society approaches. He said:

As negotiations for the next GEF replenishment advance, our GEF–MEA Exchange on Financing at UNEA-7 will explore how GEF-9 can accelerate action on pollution, chemicals and waste, and biodiversity loss through more integrated and innovative financing.
