Today on #WorldCottonDay, we honour one of the world’s most important natural fibers. Yet like many crops, cotton faces challenges. Hazardous chemicals are used in cultivation and textile processing can pose risks for people and the planet.

POPRC has adopted decisions to review the continued uses of some POPs.

It could mean that the controls on these toxic chemicals could tighten, allowing only some critical uses. @brsconventions.bsky.social
