Our parent eagles, Dracmorda and Swanthula are back and having a little flirty sky chase! Drac has been prepping the nest so hopefully we'll get another round of chicks this year! We're at 6 including mom and dad now! The first years are BenDaLa and Jinkx and last years are Nova and Olympia!

A baby and their bullies

I finally got good pictures of baby B!

Well both baby #baldeagles have taken flight as of today. Hopefully I'll still see them around every once in a while like I do their big siblings. It's a bittersweet day for me. Proud to see them leave the nest, sad that they're gone.

Ok I think I was wrong and neither new baby has taken flight yet but one is working their wings out! They just blend in so well! I must have seen one of last years babies flying yesterday. Still a proud moment as I watched them grow from little baby tree chickens and saw their first flights! 🥹

One of my baby eagles took its first flight the other day and I just saw him flying while heading to my doctor's appointment! Almost cried, I'm so proud! They grow up so fast!

The baby eagles have been very cute today. The 2 times I looked at them they've been sitting next to each other, almost cuddled up. We had a small temp drop so I'm sure they're just keeping warm but I like to think they're pals, too. Their older siblings were less cuddly with each other lol

Update on my baby tree chickens (bald eagles)
They're at the dark brown, gaining some real feathers, and starting to stretch their wings stage! Their siblings BenDaLa and Jinkx came and did a low fly by over me the other day to say hi, too! Mom and dad, Drac & Swan are doing well too!

I'm very worried about my eagles. Haven't seen the parents in a few days or heard them at night. I'm afraid something got to the babies. So I'm pouring all of my anxiety in to that rn apparently. 😟

Every "parent" who refused to vaccinate (and could have) should be charged with domestic terrorism or something akin and child neglect, endangerment, and abuse and lose their children. Sick of it.
