Wikipedia is strangely silent about the role of community organisations pushing for light rail from the 90's through to today - Gungahlin Community Council, Save The Ridge, ACT Light Rail Coalition, ACT Light Rail and todays @ptcbr.bsky.social are rarely mentioned.

As a person deeply involved in lobbying for Light Rail Stage One from early 2000's - every single thing we said light rail would deliver has occurred - It is a transport, planning, and environmental success.

Great letter in the Canberra Times by Andrew Donnellan. People who were wrong in the 90's wrong in the 2010's and are wrong now... and continue to think they are right - is a matter for history 😎
Light Rail Stage One is a proven success πŸ‘
Build Light Rail Stage 2 now πŸš†
