Are you learning (or wanting to learn) Spanish? Spanish I think has a lot of irregularities, I think Italian was just more straight forward for me. But also can more languages not define gender with conjugation and in/definite articles please I’m just a poor English speaker 😭😭😭

oh yeah tenses and grammar are hard as shit lmao. conjugations i used to fill notebooks with repetition tho so i still remember a lot. but my goal was always to learn italian>spanish>portuguese>french and then figure some others out from there

i think my spanish is garbage but i can understand more of it than i expect to. i can answer things in english but i don't have a vocabulary. i was conversational in italian for a year or two then stopped using it. but i'd like to get to B2.

i never picked up spanish, then i took italian and found it came easily. i will say, i often have conversations with Spanish speakers in italian bc i can't stick to spanish and i switch midsentence LOL but usually we understand each other
