Someone who is "flying through emails" is typically busy enough to need to check their calendar before responding anyways.
Day and Date is far more useful in the case you pitched: error checking, eg "You said Tues the 12th - but Tues is the 11th."
This is brilliant

Total play time is great for tracking which games we like best in our library, but it is *rarely* an accurate way to track session duration and frequency.
Though ya know... sometimes we do be playin it
Cyberpunk 2077 came out 5 years (~1800 days) ago.
If they bought the game around release, they played for an avg of ~33 minutes per day.*
Anyone who watches a single 30 min TV show a day has spent that same amount of time doing something equally mindless.

28.10.2025 23:04 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That's a great question! I'm no legal scholar, so I don't know any of the nuance as to what NATO considers "an attack."
Though if NATO does consider tariffs an attack, perhaps Article 5 inherently approved countries that responded with their own tariffs.
But that's just a guess, & I agree with you
If he does, NATO Article 5 states:
"An armed attack against one or more [NATO countries] in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all"
And permits the use of force to defend the attacked country/ies & to maintain North Atlantic security.

Agreed - onus is on the speaker to communicate effectively with their audience.
If it's too difficult to understand someone's message, it will not be received.
Yes! That's exactly how acronyms are supposed to be used publicly.
Explain the context once and use the shorthand afterwards.
So many acronym sequences are reused in a multitude of ways, making it needlessly difficult to look up what they mean.
Of course - using very well-known acronyms or using acronyms within their in-group makes sense, especially on platforms with a significant character limit.
Those are not the circumstances I'm referring to above.
It's so frustrating when people use industry or in-group shorthand *outside* of those industries or in-groups.
Even if unintended - it either excludes the very people they're trying to communicate with OR it presents as trying to prove how much they (don't) know by hiding behind acronyms.
The stat is written in a confusing way.
It really means: 99% of detainees have 0 felonies
Ex: if someone has 1 felony, they "only" have 33 *fewer* felonies than Trump, and thus are not among the 99% who hit the max of 34 fewer felonies.
