You're overthinking it. Sometimes people dislike an art style. There are other people that like it enough to want to pay money for it. That's it.
There's no such thing as objectivity in art and trying to attain a universal "good art" is completely pointless. Keep doing what you're doing.

I'm waiting for the Peely bundle that got added to the code about a month ago, but there's no sign of said bundle being available anytime soon

It was so unexpected that I actually didn't notice it was shiny at first. I chose to not catch it at first, then realised it was shiny during the flee cutscene. I had to close the game quickly to avoid getting an autosave after doing it, but it was worth it because Kim and I both got it in the end.

I got my first shiny raid den in SV tonight. A 6* shiny Tera Fire Chandelure, specifically. It having a Tera Type that matches both its colour and one of its STAB types makes it even rarer. Super cool to have happen, and completely unexpected.

If the cost of games and consoles from now permanently rises I hope everyone who bought the Switch 2 on release day remembers that they contributed to that.
If they get no visible pushback this will just be the new normal, and it is not reasonable.
