I've seen a lot of turned krokbragd bands recently. I never shared the band that I designed and wove about 18 months ago.

I was really pleased with how it turned out, and it made a great strap for a bag made from a boundweave sample

Had a lovely walk recently. Here's a couple of things I spotted

I got to visit one of my oldest friends today & gave her the tea towel that I wove. Through her I got together with my husband 30 years & she got together with her flatmate who was a good friend of my husband! Even funnier, at that point she was renting the room that had been rented by my husband.

Huck tea towels fresh from my loom. They were an adventure in designing at the reed and warping front to back, threading correction and speed weaving

I wove almost half a towel and realised there were threading mistakes so I did the 2 stick trick and cut it off; sorted out the mistakes; safely got the warp back onto the loom and wove away yesterday and today. I realised the selvedge set ups aren't symmetrical, but ah well, I'll call it flare!

Somehow I went from wanting to weave a quick tea towel present to choosing a 5 thread huck that needed to be warped front to back to enable scrappy light and dark stripes #handweaving #hucklace
