It worked well. Though I put the lease sticks in the front still. Worked out ok for this project.

I usually do front to back warping. This time trying back to front.

Yes. I used keyrings attached to fishing swirls to be able to remove twisting when needed. The loops in the swirls are too small for me put the threads through, so I use the keyrings also. I also find them helpful to tie knots easier.

I use a 16" Ashford rigid heddle for scarves. I have a baby wolf floor loom for bigger projects. It depends on what you want to weave. A rigid heddle is quick to learn and costs less. See if you can find pre-loved looms!
