It’s been a joke for decades. The Presidency is “handed off” to successors. No one independent ever has a chance. #F1

Is the @FIA and its governance of @F1 better after MBS became president or worse?

Its election model for decades as given a massive benefit to the incumbent. That’s why there’s only ever a change when the President decides on his own to leave.

I saw the #F1 film. Overall I enjoyed it. The visuals on track were spectacular.

When they cut to a side by side shot of the two cars I thought we were going to be treated to a Frankenheimer homage.

You know, Max Mosley was pretty good at his job. It was a different time, but he lead the FIA with intelligence and strength.

He and Bernie made an impressive combination. Maybe a bit too cozy, but those were the years that made this sport what it is today.

Please start publishing the #F1 Technical Directives. They are part of the regulatory framework for the sport we love (and financially support).

I’ve asked many times before, and Charlie was even looking into it as he saw some merit in the request.
