A song by a band I collaborate on with some friends, The Estuary 21, hit a million streams on Spotify this week. The fact that tens of thousands of people a month still spin these tunes even when we’ve done zero in a couple of years is mindblowing.

The expansion of data centers is having serious effects on the US grid, with three-quarters of highly distorted power readings occurring within 50 miles of sites with significant data center activity.

This Government have supported the voluntary levy that the industry has backed, but if that levy is not implemented we will be forced to take action… the Minister for Creative Industries will be writing to the industry in those terms this week.
