my personal use case is 1000 more firefox tabs than the creators probably envisioned, lots of youtube/streaming, and the occasional casual game like stardew valley or bloons td, plus classwork. i restart it every few days and it works just fine. if you have different needs maybe different rec idk

my current laptop is a lenovo thinkpad 14 and i like her :) however the thinkbook is also quite solid especially like if you like them more durable.

refurbished is literally fine and can be quite cheap. however if you plan to upgrade the ram then make sure you are buying laptop ram, not desktop ram

bad news is almost any laptop for purchase that comes preinstalled with windows will have ai bullshit. good news is that www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10 shutup10 is free to download, works on windows 11, and removes it super easily without you having to worry about manual registry editing

nah this is really real. like man idk how some people don't understand that some wants for rep are aspirational and some are realistic! and some people will like or dislike either depending on their personal wants :/
