I think the thing that amazes me the most about the whole Cracker Barrel fiasco (other than the fact the corporate was able to take a muleass ugly logo and make it worse) was the amount of inbred rednecks who stood up in defense of a guy named Herschel.

There were 1.8 million assault convictions in the US in 2023. 1254 of them were perpetrated by illegal migrants. That’s a whopping 0.069%.

There were 7000 homicides in the US last year. 29 out of 7000? That’s about 0.41%. And this is based on the government’s own numbers.

I cobbled this together from the US customs and border protection website. I am particularly interested in the homicides, since the fascists say that we are at the mercy of undocumented migrants.
