The NDP needs a plan to invest in rural healthcareβ¦. And honestly apologize for their actions in the 90s. Whether or not they were βhospitalsβ, is immaterial when access to healthcare was reduced. And for what? To prove weβre good fiscal managers? The public doesnβt believe it anyway π€·ββοΈ

You can flood streets with cops and still have suffering everywhere.
Or you can fund housing, mental health care, and addiction treatment,
and actually make people safe.
One is control.
The other is solutions!

Alberta separatists might look haphazard and kooky, but they have a path to turn a 20% issue into a real threat.
1 - Normalize separatism so it no longer feels toxic.
2 - Tie it to every grievance.
3 - Find a political dance partner. The U.S.A.
They are now pushing all 3 at once.

Post reads: Always a pleasure to spend time with the great Premier Moe of Saskatchewan. His leadership throughout these tumultuous times has strengthened Saskatchewan's economy, diversified its trade with global markets, and is building an even brighter future for the province. Keep up the great work, Premier!

contract with Stephen Harper-led consulting firm.
SASKATOON -- The Saskatchewan government has hired former prime minister Stephen Harper's consulting firm Harper and Associates in what it calls an effort to boost international trade.
Scott Moe has been paying Harper and Associates $240, 000 / year of Saskatchewan taxpayer dollars since 2019. For consulting on international trade.
Quite the expensive compliment.

A group of white supremacists on a walkway over Circle Drive displaying a banner reading "REMIGRATION NOW".
For those who don't know, remigration is a European far-right concept of ethnic cleansing via the mass deportation of non-white minority populations.
I took this photo today in SASKATOON within hours of the ICE remigration Gestapo executing another person in the US.

I never said it wasnβt done compassionately. I said it was done indiscriminately. Like maybe we should be investing in fire, flood and emergency services in a time of climate change, rather than cutting by 15%? To give just one example.
23.01.2026 23:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
How is 15% cutβ the largest cut in the public service, including the Harper yearsβ not massive? You might not agree that it matters, but donβt pretend itβs a βminor adjustmentβ.
Also they cut 15% across the board, rather than targeting the departments that have grown.
23.01.2026 22:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
Well you obviously didnβt read the article, since itβs nation-wide cutsβ not regional specific. And yeah, I do find our massive, largely indiscriminate cuts to the public service to be very bad for Canadian sovereignty.

It would have looked like he immediately did something unpopular to appease Trump after giving a speech that suggested he plans to have more backbone than that.
