#GameDev #SoloDev #IndieDev #Godot #GodotEngine I’ve tried to make a weapon handler script similar to what I’ve done before, however both guns are still visible (only weapon_1, the pistol, should be visible). Both weapons have canvas layers - what is the correction? Any ideas?

I may need to learn that in later game projects

To All #gamemakerEngine Users i'm having a bit of trouble of getting the buttons to show up and in the right depth with the pause menu it's above the texts and main menu it's not showing at all and trust me i've use the (!on_Layer_Ui) depth = - bbox_bottem and just doesn't want to work.

Alright question of the day for all #gamedev. What was the game/s that inspired you to become a game developer?

Working on the Solitomb tutorial since yesterday, mostly recording GIFs now to illustrate the concepts! 🧐

It was pretty soulsucking work until I decided to sit down and spend 20 minutes adding cheat codes for everything. Now I can set up any situation I need in seconds 🤗

Mine was game maker engine that started my journey, now i use construct 3

Got MOTIVATED and drew another tileset. This one will also be a good motivation to finally figure out the scrolling background.

ahhh i see what you mean it repeated the one part of the generator 3 times, cause you want this game to switch parts of the level to make it fun and challenging. best of luck this weekend to solving the level generation, also awesome game project there!!
