I literally will work on anything else except my comic rn 😭 I *will* go back to it soon, but I kinda just wanna draw my OCs having fun/not having a breakdown in the middle of a mall

Yea, seriously... The more I think of the irl spaces I've been in, the more I've realized that a lot of them require you to fit their very specific mold+have a very specific background. Sometimes I wonder if I'm just ending up in the wrong spaces for me, but it feels so superficial, it's tiring

Lastly, don't get me started on self-proclaimed "communities" 😂 If you're not One Of Them, don't bother, no matter how much they convince you they care about "community" and that you "aren't alone ♥️"

Sorry, I just needed to vent this because I got burned very badly last year, and it's changed me. I'm moving on, but I can't find my value in others. I finally accept myself for who I am, and that I am different. Most people will not like or get me for it, but that's ok.

I spent most of last year trying to make friends in the the city. I feel more alone, because:

1) Most people are just collecting contacts
2) They aren't interested once they know you aren't "Somebody"

+I cared too much. When people see that, they use you, then dump you when you're no longer needed
