DS Blog – A blog with resources, templates, and process-oriented pieces showing how we do DS at a small liberal arts college. One of the ongoing challenges in managing digital projects is finding ways to contextualize individual contributions especially when those contributions represent part of a larger, long-term effort. This is especially true when working with student assistants and interns, who are often tasked with working on a phase of a bigger project whose full scope and history may not be immediately familiar to them.

One of my summer goals is to organize and share more of our templates and resources, as well as to write a bit about how we do digital scholarship at a small liberal arts college. Check out our new blog: alacy.sites.haverford.edu/dsblog/

Well worth a think: cumulative per capita contributions to #NEH funding vs. the incredible #humanities impact we bring to all 56 states/jurisdictions that we've been posting about here.

NEH staff are responsible stewards of #taxpayer $$, and the benefits for the American public are incalculable.

Oof, 4! Our NEH was terminated on Thursday too. Truly disheartening.

We just received ours this morning. Did yours also come through email rather than the grant portal?

A combination of static site builders (mostly Eleventy + CollectionBuilder) and some Omeka sites depending on user needs. We've been converting lots of old Omeka sites to static sites though

I also love hypothesis! It integrates nicely with different CMS and we get good engagement with it for in-class activities and asynchronous work

This also happened to us. We received high marks from one reviewer but were given low marks from another for not including enough citations in our abstract. It's mildly frustrating, especially since this wasn't a stated requirement
