Online geography. A minor headache for AI? AI is really bad at dealing with geographic information. Much as I wish this was an original observation it is not, I learned this in the summer when a colleague sent me this Skeet on Bluesky: My gโ€ฆ

Royal Parks responds to Farage's claim that swans are being eaten by eastern Europeans in the UK The Reform leader had accused migrants living in the UK of taking both carp and swans - a protected species - from ponds in Britain's Royal Parks and killing them.

It's just the one swan, actually.

Fury over 'new' BBC TV licence rule as Brits would 'rather live in North Korea' The BBC is reportedly considering a new licence fee that would see households forced to pay even if they don't watch traditional television - and Brits are not happy

This "Britain is North Korea" narrative is getting really boring as well as ridiculous

Roman Corbridge (Coria), Northumberland. The granary building on the left of the picture remained at the same level for 200 years, but the Stanegate road in the centre/right of the picture rose by nearly 2m as a result of renovation and resurfacing. I love seeing how mobility changes landscapes.
