I maintain that speed vans shouldn't be identified at all.

Nothing will make people slow down more then not knowing if the speed van is there or not!

Its worrying, isn't it?
They are simply not payong attention to the signs.

Or at least Google maps is the excuse. I strongly suspect that the local people just like speeding as normal and they needed a suitable excuse.

Next week councillors will contact Gardai about the "sneaky" way they catch people who break into homes.

I've now had 5 of these incidents at this junction, where drivers just decide to proceed even though I'm very clearly on the road.

The have a right to protest, but trying to push through the Gardai line is just foolish. It will understandably garner a reaction from the Gardai.

Another interesting episode of Climate Town, if you've not watched this channel you are missing out.

I thought it was really nifty, especially as I was in the middle of no where on pitch dark country roads while out for a run.

Being able to just say the driver was at the junction near me was so helpful.

I suspect they don't apply the same rule to car thefts.

Something I found interesting, I've called 112 before normally and it was treated as a normal call.

I used emergency button on lock screen the other night to report a very dangerous driver. It gave them all my location data etc.
