For the Love of Poetry What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world? I don’t have some big vision of changing the world through this blog. If there are blogs out there that have done that, they must be the best-kept secret on the internet. What I do have is the satisfaction of finally sitting down to write on a regular basis.

I’m not here to change the world—just to write, read, and share poetry I love. If my words spark someone else’s love for poems, that’s enough. Come for the prompts, stay for the rhythm, and maybe leave loving poetry a little more than when you arrived.

He's the dad on Everybody Hates Chris. He's the man who has coupons for his coupons. That is me. I have always struggled with spending money. All my life, whenever I'd go to the mall with a friend and had no money to spend, I'd always see the cutest things.

What’s the most you’ve ever spent on a meal—and was it worth it? I went from coupons to cackling at $1,000 tasting menus. A love letter to food, frugality, and the fine art of saying nah, I’m good. Plus a poem about oranges. Come through.
